Lydia Black reveals how AI is changing adult entertainment contracts and what models should know
The digital revolution in adult entertainment brings both unprecedented opportunities and concerning challenges for content creators. In this candid conversation with Lydia Black, a veteran adult performer who recently relocated from the US to Prague, we explore the often-hidden reality of AI rights being slipped into standard contracts without proper disclosure or compensation.
Lydia shares a revealing personal experience: "I've shown up on set looking over a contract I think I've looked over a million times. And all of a sudden there's AI rights in the contract." This concerning trend highlights the importance of creator vigilance in protecting their digital likeness and intellectual property. As companies rush to capitalize on AI technology, performers must stay informed about their rights and the potential long-term implications of signing away AI permissions.
Beyond the cautionary tales, we dive into the empowering side of technology for independent creators. Lydia explains how performers can leverage the same AI tools that management agencies use without surrendering their autonomy or revenue. From content organization to fan categorization, these technologies offer powerful advantages for savvy entrepreneurs. We also explore innovative revenue models like those offered by 4Based, where creators earn commission not just on their own content but from users they refer to the platform.
Looking toward the future, Lydia reveals her plans to launch an inclusive platform specifically for models with tattoos and body modifications – addressing a gap in representation she's personally experienced throughout her decade-plus career. Her vision exemplifies how creators are reclaiming power by building specialized platforms that serve underrepresented communities.

Welcome to another episode of the Sisters in Cash podcast. This episode is featured by Legal Fans and 4Based Today is my guest. We are already in Prague. Who are you?
Speaker 2:Hi everybody. I'm Lydia Black. I'm a model from the US, but I just moved here to Prague.
Speaker 1:She moved three months ago from the US to Prague and you are doing Viking shows, right?
Speaker 2:Yeah, today we're doing the Viking show, viking Lust, for the Eurofest. So it's my first time at Eurofest actually.
Speaker 1:My first time too, so I'm really happy that I found you, because a lot of girls are not talking in English here and you are already from here, so it's really cool. So my podcast is Abyss Podcast, so we can talk a little bit about social media, if you like. Or we can talk a little bit about content creation, because I know you are also creating content. Yeah, for fan platforms.
Speaker 2:Is this correct? Yeah, yeah, I am. I have a couple of different fan platforms that I'm using. I have been doing like professional porn for a long time and then when all the the fan sites started popping up, I was a little bit lost. I was like oh my gosh, I don't know what to do, I'm just used to being hired on set, but it's just been a way to really connect personally with the fans that I really love.
Speaker 1:So you are also chatting and you are selling custom videos and something like this, right? Yeah, all of the above, perfect, perfect, okay. So let's talk a little bit, maybe, about AI, okay, yeah, because you know, right now it's really famous, yeah, and I know you are also in some conventions like Express or something. I also think you know Corey Silverstein, mm-hmm, yeah. Yeah, he was last year in Amsterdam and was talking also about AI and paperwork and something.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it is very interesting Also about AI and paperwork and something. Yeah, it is very interesting. I've shown up on set for professional porn sets before and I'm just like looking over a contract that I think I've looked over like a million times.
Speaker 1:And all of a sudden there's AI rights in the contract. Yeah, tell us more about this. This is so interesting.
Speaker 2:Yeah, it's honestly a little bit worrying, I think, because they try to maybe just put it in a contract that you think you've already seen a hundred times if you've worked for this company before, but it's new and they don't really want to point it out to you. But they want to be able to make AI content off of the content that you're shooting that day and they don't tell you and they want maybe to not pay you more for that, and I think you should definitely be paid more for that this is a really good information for our girls.
Speaker 1:Read your contract, yeah, read your contact, because, also, I am not familiar with the new AI paperwork and something I just here. I had two podcasts now with Brittany and Ruth. I think you know her, yeah, and she also told me she was working with Corrie for a good paper that nobody is allowed to create some AI model of her and make content with her AI model. Yeah, that's very important. Yeah, because I think yeah, so also, if they create an AI model of you and they just change one tattoo, it's not you anymore, right, right, yeah, it's really, really, really scary yeah, when you don't have, uh like final say on what's gonna be put out from you, I think it's not fair to do that to models.
Speaker 2:Um, I think that, like ai, is a great tool that like models can use, especially with social media, to stay ahead of like trends and stuff like that, I think that's really great, but when it comes to like using your own image for ai stuff, I think that, like there's already so many ways that like professional models are kind of taken advantage of, like we could show up on set but we don't get royalties like other adult or well other entertainment industries do, so I think it's definitely something that we need to stay ahead of.
Speaker 1:Yeah, we had. Let's talk a little bit more about an AI, but more about a little bit. You know also Melrose Michaels, right, Melrose Michaels? Melrose Michaels, I don't think I do. Okay, she's really big in the industry. She was creating a chat GPT service, but for adults it's called GPTs. She don't pay me or something, but she's amazing. Oh my gosh, I think.
Speaker 2:I have heard of this. I haven't heard of her, but I've heard of this sexy chat.
Speaker 1:GPT. Oh my God, so crazy. I create a lot of clip description with it, shooting outlines, so it's amazing. So my question now to you is are you working with ChatGPT or something for your?
Speaker 2:business. Right now I'm not using ChatGPT because it has so many restrictions on adult services. I know that's why she created it. Yeah, I've been using Grok, which is like the Twitter ex-AI, which I don't really love, because I don't really love supporting Elon Musk, so I would love to try her AI instead, because she's a sex worker.
Speaker 1:She's amazing. She also won the Women Executive Woman of the Year. Oh good, she deserves that then. Yeah, she's really she also. She had models with some also sex work CEO. She created sex work CEO. That's Melrose Michaels.
Speaker 2:It's so helpful. Okay, I've heard all the amazing stuff she's done, but I haven't put the name to the face. You have to. I'm sure I've seen her. Yeah, you have to. I'm sure I've seen her.
Speaker 1:yeah, yeah, of course, from the conventions.
Speaker 2:But yeah, I think that's really amazing and it's like really needed because, like I said, I think that's like really the benefit for AI, for us sex workers, is like the behind the scenes kind of stuff, keeping ahead of like trends.
Speaker 1:That's why I started this podcast, because I like that models connect with each other and learn from the other models. You know All tips and tricks, all about social media. For example, I had, with Brittany Ingers, a two-hour podcast and a one-and-a-half-hour podcast. We were talking about content organization, content recycling, all this stuff. It was so great she's now three decades in the industry To hear everything from her. It was amazing also for me to learn from her.
Speaker 2:That's great. Yeah, I think. Yeah, I think that the ai is such a powerful tool for the models because there's there's so many also there's like all these agencies out there that do like only fans agencies and stuff like that, and they all use these ai tools, but it's not just them that they can use it like. I don't think the models know that they can purchase these software themselves and use this AI tools on OnlyFans to go through your vault and look at all the content you have and maybe categorize all your fans so that you can better send the content that they liked out to them. So I just want to encourage all the models that you don't necessarily have to give your revenue away to agencies. If you really want to take the time and do it yourself, you can learn how to use these tools too.
Speaker 1:Yes, Also I watched a tutorial for a chat GPT on YouTube. It was so helpful because also they explained don't use chat GPT as a Google, use it as a friend.
Speaker 2:I think that's my problem with ChatDBT I have a hard time figuring out the right prompts and I just get really frustrated with him. Yeah, you have to use it like a friend. Yeah, and I'm just typing in keywords like Google and he's confused. But yeah, I need to learn how to speak to him better, just watch.
Speaker 1:I started also Watch tutorials. Yeah, they help you a lot. Okay, it's amazing. It's amazing. Okay, tell us why you started with the Vikings, because it's a really niche. Yeah, you are doing or your shows are amazing, so tell us how it started.
Speaker 2:Actually, brittany Bardot was the one who really thought about the whole concept and everything and I've been working with her through a bunch of other projects that she does. She does like perverse family power fetish. Area 51 is like a new thing that she's doing. So I've worked with her for a few years on different fetish stuff which really like, and she, she, she came to me about the Vikings and I just feel like I kind of fit the vibe and I also really love performing live. So it's like it's uh, it's a different experience because you know, performing in front of the camera is one thing, but then when there's like the audience and the energy and everything, that's like a whole another level of adrenaline.
Speaker 1:Amazing. Okay, so you told us you are also on a lot of fan platforms. One of my sponsors who is featuring me is 4Based. 4based right now is a German fan platform, but they have one special thing If you bring users or models, you get a rev share, so also from users. So a lot of girls. They also started right now in US. They have all payments. The good thing is so if you bring user to OnlyFans, you don't have any revenue, right? If you bring user to 4Base, you get some percentage from everything they buy from other girls. So it's really amazing. I know a lot of models from there and some of them make more money with the users than with their own content.
Speaker 2:That makes sense. I think I was talking to them yesterday actually as well, and they were saying that they're really helpful on the back end, where they help you post your content and stuff. So it's not like you're having to sit there all day yourself and trying to organize everything. Yes, yes, so it's not that you make a lot sit there all day yourself and trying to organize everything.
Speaker 1:Yes, yes, so it's no that you make a lot of money. Also, if you and I think if you, um share your traffic with some platforms, you should definitely have the revenue. Yeah, really important, really important. Okay, um, do you have any plans for the future?
Speaker 2:um, yeah, I do have plans for the future. I hope to like start my own site in the future, and what kind of a site I would love to do like an alternative site where it's mostly girls that have like tattoos or body modifications. Oh, that is nice, because I've been in the industry a long time and there's been how long Over 10 years now Nice, and there's been like opportunities that I haven't been able to have because I have the tattoos and I just want to be able to give those opportunities to everybody, whether they're tattooed or not.
Speaker 1:Like maybe I will put fake tattoos on them and they can come and still work for me and still fit the vibe of the site. Yes, it'd be fun. Okay, can you tell us where the guys will?
Speaker 2:find you. You guys can find me on social media I'm lidblackxo on Instagram, and on Twitter or X I'm lydiablackxo. And, of course, you can also find me on OnlyFans lydiablackxo, and same with Fansly, Okay.
Speaker 1:Okay, thank you so much, much. Thank you for the time. I hope I will meet you at Berlin on the X-PASS, miami, everything.
Speaker 2:Yeah, I'll be around here in Prague too, so maybe we can have lunch sometime we will do.
Speaker 1:Thank you so much for your time. Bye, bye, thank you.
