Speaker 1:

Welcome to another episode of the Sisters in Cash podcast. This episode is featured by creatortrafficcom, and modelserchercom is your adult friendly social media platform. So today is my guest, amber, from the Netherlands. Amber, hi, please tell us a little bit about you.

Speaker 2:

Hi, thank you for having me first of all. So if you don't know me, I am Amber Karis Plasic. I was born in the UK and I live now in the Netherlands since 20 years, and I am a full-time glamour model and content creator.

Speaker 1:

Okay, so we had a lot of content creators before, but I think you focus it more on modelling, right? So you travel in the world and you model for also magazines and tell us more. A little bit about this.

Speaker 2:

Yeah. So how I got into modelling is really strange. I never chose to be a model. It came on my path because I was first a hairdresser and a makeup artist. I was always I love to do photo shoots and I guess I just got kept getting asked by photographers if I want to shoot with them. And then one time I joined some competition are you a model? And I thought I'm not going to win this.

Speaker 1:

I am 160, I'm like pretty small per model Me too, me too, me too, me too oh my god really, oh, that's so cool.

Speaker 2:

And yeah, then I won it and then it just really started from there, because then you got like the prize with some radio interview and some money and also a VIP account on Model Mayhem and yeah, then it just got started from there and I got so many requests and I did more and more shoots and then I kind of had trouble with my hairdressing career and then some photographer actually approached me and asked me hey, would you like to do modelling full time? And I was like what is that for question? And I think almost everyone's dream or girls dream. And then I thought, yeah, but what about my height? And then he showed me like the photography side of modelling you don't have to fit a certain standard, like on the catwalk or something like this. And then he showed me how to work as a self-employed model and also how to travel the world.

Speaker 2:

And I think my first trip was in Italy. So I went to Milan and Florence and then I just started travelling everywhere. I went further. Yeah, I went quite often in Germany and in the Netherlands, switzerland. Then I got like requests to go to Spain, shoot there, and yeah, I've been to Australia. I visit now, rightly, the America, asia. I used to love to work in Europe in the summer and then escape the winter in America and Asia. So it's really really cool because I got to see many places, I got to shoot with many different types of people, different cultures, amazing locations. Then magazine started to approach me so I've been in Playboy a few times Really yeah, fhm and so many other art stuff and, yeah, it's really cool.

Speaker 1:

So your main focus are not, for example, fan platforms or something right.

Speaker 2:

So that's how I started out. And then OnlyFans came and I was like, oh, this is kind of cool, because I have so many pictures and also, yeah, sexy pictures, which what do I do with them? I can't post them on social media. And also, when you get like known as a model, you start to build up a little bit of a fan base. So I thought OnlyFans was the perfect fit for me to upload my pictures, what I have, and make my fans happy. And yeah, it was also a good backup, because modeling is not always that easy.

Speaker 2:

Cancelations, cancellations happen all the time. Things go wrong when you travel as well. So OnlyFans was great. It was like little backup for me and a stable fit. I didn't do so much with it as I do now. Before I just basically just chatted with my fans and uploaded pictures. And then COVID came and then I just had to cancel all my trips. I, yeah, I had to cancel everything and it's like well, what do I do now? Because I have no income? And luckily there were some photographers who I had planned a shoot with. They was like oh, you know, I'll give you the money, please stay safe. And then it was.

Speaker 2:

I had also other friends that are in the industry like me, and they was like okay, I'm going to go full time OnlyFans, let's help each other, let's do this. And yeah, then I went further in this and yeah, it's great. It's really really great. I really enjoy to make content, chat with the fans, make them personal videos, personal picture sets, and also to work with other content creators is also really fun. So, yeah, and now I kind of do both. I love to engage still with my fans. And yeah, I said I can't, I'm not stopping modeling yet Because I just like it too much. I think maybe I will do maybe one or two years more traveling and modeling and then maybe full time content creating.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, okay, so this was the way to create some really naughty pics, right.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, so I'm, of course I do naughty pics. Since I was in Playboy, I shoot this style. So for me it was like, yeah, it was not something new, also with fetish work, I do also some fetish work, and yeah, then it really fits together so yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, okay. So this brings me to a question, because I know you have a really tough time schedule and you are really professional, so I know you like to start also with YouTube, right? So vlogging.

Speaker 2:

Yes, yes, yes, I am visiting Hamburg, as I have told you. Yeah, I've wanted so often to vlog because it's like the perfect fit for me, but it just wasn't the right time. And now I'm in the right time, I'm in the right era and everything fits. And, yeah, I'm going to start vlogging. And I want to also give my audience and my followers advice if they would ever want to start out with something. What I do and also, since I like travel to some really cool places, I want to do like some reviews, like places to eat, places to go. Yeah, just do the things that you love to do. I think that's the best.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, yeah, so you are. Let's talk a little bit about personal branding, because I think also YouTube is a big. It's one step more into personal branding Science. You started as a model and for your mainstream I think you all already you had your personal brand and you mentioned before also to get in contact with your friends, with your fans, to know them better. Can you tell us a little bit more? Because when someone is understanding why you should do personal branding, then it's you.

Speaker 2:

Sorry, can you repeat that question?

Speaker 1:

So can you tell us a little bit more why you should start, as a model, to do some personal branding, so to get some personal things into your brand and site and not only doing the sexiest, yeah, just you know, it's like we have a lot of Instagram models there, but there's no personal, no person behind it. You know just nothing interesting.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's the thing, because it's like, I mean, I think a lot of people are doing it now, especially since COVID and sex is everywhere, and I think you have way more success when people get to know who is Amber, who is this girl, what is she doing, what is she like? Oh, she likes the same stuff I do. You know, and then you build a connection that's unique and that is the key to success when they really know who is Amber.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Because sex can be anyone and it's like, okay, that's a pair of tits and yeah, Okay onto the next. Yeah.

Speaker 1:

It's like this. So when I started, I was always this girl. I put a lot of personal things also inside my social media, so people know a little bit more about me, how I react to things. I also was showing where I am, so not where I'm living, of course, but what I'm doing right now. You know just a little bit like this, and so I have hand-based science 2012, I think and there are some people that's so crazy they know me really, really, really good.

Speaker 2:

I really like this yeah.

Speaker 1:

Me too, me too, me too. And then I started with YouTube. I was shooting with a really big YouTuber and it was amazing because my fan base is, haha, 80% from US and 20% from Germany, and it was so funny because there was a lot of. So my goal was to step out of the industry out of the industry to a much more mainstream with YouTube.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Because of personal things. So I was shooting with a guy and he is really really famous on YouTube and it was so nice because what's his name?

Speaker 1:

Jörg Sprawe. He's from Germany, but his audience is in US. Oh nice, because he was working with Knives, so because of my brand is about my roots, so Viking, and he has Knives. He has, we were shooting something and yeah, it's also my blood, oh so cool. Yeah so, and then his audience is from US and the goal was, if we To get out of this, to brand with this video more my personality, not like the naughty stuff, more like the person behind the breast, the person behind the face, the person behind the muscles or whatever you think.

Speaker 1:

So and there was only so cool comments from the guys I think it was just two comments who was talking about my upper body, but the other ones was so extremely cool and say, wow, what a cool girl. And whatever she's doing, she's amazing. We love her personality and that was the goal. So to brand yourself as a mainstream, normal person, because if you are really deep in the industry, it's hard to get step out.

Speaker 2:

Yes, yes, definitely yeah.

Speaker 1:

So you need a really good strategy to brand yourself. It is yeah, and then you can work with it also in the future. But a lot of girls miss this.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's like they want fast results and they want it fast, they want it easy and, yeah, sure, there are some people that have success with it. But I really think that the way you see how Instagram is going and how everyone else is going, like you see people doing stuff that works now well, and then they have their other thing, what they want to promote next to it, and that's the key you have to make it personal and not only the sexy stuff, because in the end, like sexy is, it's a too big risk and you get deleted.

Speaker 1:

It is.

Speaker 2:

Get banned, and you just know it's going to happen. So yeah. I know it all too well on TikTok Okay.

Speaker 1:

Tell us more about your TikToks. Is it working right now?

Speaker 2:

I have to. I'm working on some stuff. Okay, I will be back, but I just need a bit more time. I really miss TikTok, though.

Speaker 1:

Okay, I can tell you something. So I stopped one year with TikTok and I think it was the biggest mistake.

Speaker 1:

I made because TikTok is right now for growing, not with TikToks, but with lives. It's crazy, oh my God. You are growing with lives and TikTok. A lot and just short form content. Put it on Instagram. But also TikTok is featuring now landscape format content and videos over one minute and videos with voiceover. So I think they will go in some thing like YouTube. But for growing TikTok and build your personal brand and build your audience. It is crazy Wow.

Speaker 2:

It's amazing. Yeah, I really enjoyed it because it gives also, like your Instagram, a boost. Yeah, my mistake was. Yeah, I did try to make it personal. I did do it personally. To be honest, I don't really know why my account got deleted. I still don't know that. I'm still here.

Speaker 1:

Have you tried to get it back? I can send you something how you can do it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I have someone that's working on it. But yeah, it's fine. I'm also okay with starting you because I also want to do other stuff that I did. I did a mix of everything and I did also some travel vlogs where I was.

Speaker 1:

Oh my God, that's amazing and you can upload them right now on TikTok.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, up to one hour. I like the thing about TikTok is it just makes like vlogging and all this so much easier, and then you can download it and upload it to your Instagram and yeah, I miss it, yeah.

Speaker 1:

Also if you have a lot of content. So, for example, to bring traffic you can use a model searcher, because model searcher you will upload some safer work picks. But if the yeah, yeah and you can bring your traffic from model searcher to your own offense, it works really well.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it works really well. I have also an account there. You also can send traffic to other fan platforms, but with the only fans. There's also a feature to track it and, yeah, they have a really big search machine and they have. They are really good in zeal, so it works really really really well. I have a. There are a lot of people who will find you just by this page.

Speaker 2:

Oh cool, yeah, and it's for free, it's for free.

Speaker 1:

It's for free. It's for free, yes, oh wow. It calls model searcher.

Speaker 2:

Okay, modelsearchercom. Yes.

Speaker 1:

Correct.

Speaker 2:

Okay, great, I'll check that one out, because I have now like three platforms I'm on. It costs money, so yeah, yeah.

Speaker 1:

I think you should post just your normal shooting pics, just like your normal IG pics or X pics or whatever. You should post there and Okay. Yeah, get some traffic.

Speaker 2:

Okay, perfect.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so okay, um, you will be in Hamburg next week, right?

Speaker 2:

Yes, yes, I can't wait. I'm really looking forward to it.

Speaker 1:

And then you will start with blogging, but you told me you will do some um. Tell us more what you will vlog.

Speaker 2:

So I want to um, really um mention. So my blog will be about, um, what I am doing there. Who am I, who I am, what I'm doing there, how someone, how I do it, so like, eventually someone can also learn how to work for themselves as a self employed model, um, and then I'm going to do some backstage safe, backstage naughty stuff you can see somewhere else, um, yeah, and then also, uh, just make it like a personal diary so how I start my day, uh, how I do it, my tips and tricks um makeup, and then, of course, since Hamburg is a really cool place to visit, I want to go um to some cool places, some nice restaurants or bars, and uh do some reviews, Cause I like, I like to eat.

Speaker 1:

But look at your, look at your shape.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I know, I'm lucky.

Speaker 1:

You look amazing.

Speaker 2:

Thank you. Yeah, I, you know what my trick is. I, I love to fast because I, I, I'm. So I've done it all. I've done every diet, I've done every fitness thing and my weight always went like this always up and down. And now I don't like to, I don't like to restrict myself too much, because that just doesn't work for me.

Speaker 2:

When I did the, I did once like um a bikini fitness thing for three months and, oh my God, I, I think I lost five kilos and then like for um, you know, because you have to be really careful when you uh get really to the point, when you want to reach, you have to slowly introduce back like carbs and all of this. And I didn't do this and I, I gained so much weight, it was so bad and I was like, no, I'm not doing this anymore. Um, I just want to live like a good balance and enjoy all of my life. So I just like, if I, I eat what I want, but then make it balanced, and then I just fast in the morning when I go over my calories.

Speaker 1:

Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Um, what are your plans for the future?

Speaker 2:

Oh, so my future plans um. I have so many plans.

Speaker 1:

How old are you girl? Because you look amazing.

Speaker 2:

I'm at, give me just a rinse. Oh, you're nice.

Speaker 1:

Can I be 28 again please? So 28, um, and I know you are professional models, so you have really professional shooting, so you need professional makeup. Can you tell me more a little bit, because you're looking so fresh? Um, thank you so much. What kind of makeup are you using?

Speaker 2:

So I, um, let's, let's also say um, I wanted to tell you as well, because I got so. When I, when I started modeling, I got so much backlash from people and I always got this question it's like, oh wait, you can't do that forever. So what's your plan B? You know, and I was so sick and tired of hearing that question and I didn't want to go back to hairdressing, like I still cut my um loved one's hair, sometimes for free, or I cut my own, Um, and then I was so, because I was so confused, I was like, what am I going to do, you know, for a plan B?

Speaker 2:

And then I saw it Makeup. So I did a makeup artist course in Amsterdam and, um, you know, it really fits, because, also, I don't want to do, I would not want to do makeup full time, but it's really handy when you can do your makeup self professionally, because, um, these days there's not always budget for a makeup artist. And, um, yeah, that's that's how I look, so, uh, glowy, I guess. I um, yeah, it's really good when you know how to uh apply makeup on a professional way. Yeah, amazing.

Speaker 1:

Your makeup looks amazing.

Speaker 2:

I it's either my tip, my pro tip I use like um a plumping primer underneath, then I put my foundation on.

Speaker 1:

How about? How will you put your foundation on?

Speaker 2:

I use a beauty, a wet beauty blender.

Speaker 1:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

Because hydration is really the key to a good makeup.

Speaker 1:

Okay.

Speaker 2:

And my, my, my pro tip is I regularly spray um mineral like this spray water like thermal water um yes.

Speaker 1:

You look so nice.

Speaker 2:

You also look good.

Speaker 1:

Yes, without makeup today, but we're good for it.

Speaker 2:

You don't need makeup, I need makeup.

Speaker 1:

Oh girl.

Speaker 2:

Don't forget. I have a good light set up, so light is everything. Don't forget that.

Speaker 1:

Light is everything. Yeah, I know, so I will meet you in Hamburg.

Speaker 2:

Yes, I can't wait. It's so cool because my friends.

Speaker 1:

We have to do some TikToks together. I have some nice ones.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's so cool. You know, sometimes I think like the things come on your path and it happens for a reason, you know. Yeah, because Roxy, we all look like Roxy. She said to me hey, I know someone, she's looking for people for her podcast.

Speaker 1:

She's really loved her.

Speaker 2:

And she said I was with her that week and I was over at her place. I stayed the night. We had a couple of drinks.

Speaker 2:

Yeah yeah, she told me yeah, and I said, hey, I'm going to Hamburg then and then, and then she wrote me yeah, this girl, she's looking for people for her podcast and she lives in Hamburg. I was like, wow, that's really not a coincidence and it's so cool that you're doing the same stuff and you're doing your YouTube, and yeah, and then you know the best places where it's going to be so much fun.

Speaker 1:

I will show you and so the people don't understand. You don't need to block a whole day for to create content. The best content is when you go outside.

Speaker 2:

Exactly.

Speaker 1:

Two content creators. Just take your phone with you and maybe a mini light or something. Yeah, just put it there and make a content a little bit in a restaurant, just a quick TikTok or quick reel or just to do everything, everyone a little, just with the normal camera and then cut it after together and who that's. Sometimes I was creating some really cool reels in the snow in the forest. Oh my God, that was my best reels when I just dancing in the forest in the snow to TikToks. It was so cool.

Speaker 2:

That was so cool. Oh my, it's snowed here not so long ago and I was like fuck, I should have done this.

Speaker 1:

It looks so I was in the morning. Oh my God, today I put throw all the things I have to do away. Just put my makeup on and go in the forest. Go for it, because you need the light, you know.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

Wow, it was amazing. It was amazing.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

And people was thinking it's a background. It's not real.

Speaker 2:

Really, I have to check it out after this.

Speaker 1:

Yes, and they wrote. They wrote in the comments it's not real. You have a background. I say what I hate it when a real goes viral, when the people are starting to hate you in the comments, then you know the real is going viral.

Speaker 2:

When you get the hate comments, then you're doing a good job.

Speaker 1:

That is the thing you need, that people start to comment really bad stuff but, then the real is blowing up.

Speaker 2:

Going viral exactly yeah.

Speaker 1:

Funny yeah.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

So I think also about your plans to show someone how to work for yourself. Also, you can create a business out of this, because I think there are a lot of girls who like to start modeling, who like to know how to schedule some trips, how to get in contact with photographers, how to plan anything. Yeah, because yes, for example, they know about content creation at home, but not about to plan trips. Maybe also this can be a really cool business to manage girls or have girls to go inside the model industry, the mainstream model industry.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, exactly yeah, this could also be something good yeah.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, so just that you know, because me I'm always, it's about personal things, so I just shoot my wheels and take talks in my kitchen in the night. But yeah, there is no daylight anymore because, always. My friend told me, Jesse, you have to do it by day because of the light, and I said yeah, but I don't have the time. Yeah.

Speaker 2:

Well, at least you're doing it, At least you're getting it done, and that's the most like. I mean, I'm not also inside.

Speaker 1:

It's pretty good light here, so you look amazing, your light is amazing. Thank you. What is it? Is it normal ring light, or do you have big lights?

Speaker 2:

So I have I think this is like a big umbrella light, and then I have soft lights and then I have a ring light, because I wanted to go on my laptop and then for some reason it's not working, so I switched back to my phone.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, cool, cool. Yeah, amber, do you like to say something else?

Speaker 2:

Something else I want to maybe know more about you, about me. Okay, I want to know more about you, so I wanted to. I checked out your accounts and I wanted to ask you what was the reason you switched from sexy content on social media to your fitness?

Speaker 1:

Okay. So I was tired because I was creating, for 10 years, every day, content at home with full face makeup, so 30 to 60 minutes. You put your makeup on shooting, shooting, shooting, shooting. And I was so, so tired of it. I was at this point where I was thinking, hey, I like to do my, my daily stuff, I like to go in the gym, I like to, I like to have time for the gym. Okay, I like to do my housework, I like to do anything, and I don't like to put every day 60 minutes, my full face makeup on.

Speaker 2:

So I know, and then you have to take it off.

Speaker 1:

Yeah so. And then I was like, okay, just go, because you have already your body. Okay so, and if you use cool fitness clothes, it looks really nice. Then I was thinking, girl, just start to film something in the gym. Where's your fucking problem? People don't care if you have makeup on or not. Just do your daily stuff. And when you do what you like, you will also. The people will feel it. And people.

Speaker 1:

Now is the now comes the funny part. People started to see me in other life. People told me oh, you are so I got so much motivation from you and I like the fire and you have. I like your discipline. It's amazing. And because of you I started to go in the gym and because of you I started. And I get this. I got this so often and then I was. Then I learned it. Hey, to create your own brand, yeah, to create your own personality, to go outside and do what you like to do. This will pay off in long term much more than create I have. I have from 10 years. I have content. I can recycle my content for anything, for all platforms, whatever, so I don't have to shoot a lot, you know.

Speaker 1:

But, I film every day when I'm in the gym, I film just so. I film with normal, so with the really good cinema mode, and I film also with TikTok and put it in the draft folder. So I have a lot of content for my TikToks, for my free accounts and I also have because of the cinema mode also another content and I have for reals content.

Speaker 1:

And when I'm in the evening in the kitchen, okay, I turn a little bit makeup on, but, just be honest, we have filters on TikTok. So, and just in the evening I do, when I, when I'm feeling for it, I do some really cool TikToks in the kitchen, but I need the body for it, because I branded myself as a fitness girl. Now, because I really I realized, I think three or four years ago, hey, the future in Instagram and also X and TikTok isn't naughty anymore. The future because they've got more and more models spent. Exactly, yeah, the future is to create content that is a little bit sexy but it's out of your, out of your day. For example, they are girls, they just have really nice clothes on and walk in high heels into Starbucks, and this reel's got maybe two million views. It's as simple as that. Yeah, yes, just do it and live your life and and people will film it.

Speaker 1:

So I changed it anything to fitness, but when it's it wasn't easy, because when you have another audience. For I was really famous as Bimbo, because I had this and was always with good makeup and looking like a Barbie. Then I changed it, so I got another audience. But I'm all. I'm interact now with my audience a lot and I have also they know me as a person. It's amazing, it's really amazing because it's all like friends, you know.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah, it's. And you the thing I like. You know, with this social media you reach so many people you know and what interests you, and you can connect with people all over the world.

Speaker 1:

And this. This is the key right now. Social media, the, the platforms like when you interact with your followers, but I don't see them as followers anymore. I them, I see them as my yeah, how you will call it, it's your. You can create your own follower base. Yeah, also, if you go on X and you go in X space, you can create your own groups and can invite groups to your to your space. So, and when this also really big people, so and when these people start to follow you, you create your own follower base. That's amazing.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it is it is, and also so, so you can work, because we are not all the time young. Yeah. No, Also but you can create for the future. Your your personal brand and you can work with it. So amazing.

Speaker 2:

That's the thing I see. That also. That's the future Kind of YouTube.

Speaker 1:

It sits the future yeah, and that is also. I never saw a platform like TikTok who works lives, so so, so well. When?

Speaker 2:

I go live.

Speaker 1:

I started again because I realized there's the money. You create your audience and it's fucking crazy. This people they came from my TikTok lives last year, for example they stay with me all the time. You have like a personal connection and they push you, they promote you. It's wow, it's amazing.

Speaker 2:

Oh yeah, I see that Some people they can give you gifts and stuff and yeah.

Speaker 1:

That's now. That is now the biggest thing ever. That's the when you play with other live creators.

Speaker 2:

Oh, it's just battling yeah.

Speaker 1:

It's a real big push.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I sometimes follow it and I'm like tapping on the screen.

Speaker 1:

This is the. You know how much money they made sometimes.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's the thing, because I was like, okay, what, okay, what is, what is this, what is the point of this?

Speaker 1:

And then I Google it and then they say like okay, well, that's not that much.

Speaker 2:
